DesertRose

Hello all!  I figured I ought to make a check-in thread.  A couple of forum members reached out to me with kind concern regarding the storm.  I and mine are well and safe (if a bit tired of rain), and if anyone else is in the path of this mess, would you please pop in here and let us know if you're okay and if you need any help we may be able to give?

Thanks!

A DesertRose who is very, very wilted from this much humidity.  ;)
"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)

Happy to hear you are OK. We are expecting Elsa this afternoon, evening. Mostly rain I think

Me, 3! Glad to hear you are OK. It's that time of the year. May you be safe through all unkind winds and rain storms.

You can buy a pretty good dog with money but you can't buy the wag of its tail.
