[16:21] <vegasunicorn> the other day I bought a box of books at a garage sale, inside was some Deryni books!!  There were others, but I'm glad there was a copy of SC, esp. since I have missing pages in my copy.

[16:22] <KK> I spoke to someone yesterday in Silver Spring, MD, and he said it was hot--and he was leaving for Turkey today, which will be 100+.
[16:22] <Gamgee> Kiri: I'm in York, PA.....  an over grown town with delusions of grandeur (we just barely qualify as the smallest category of City)

[16:23] <whytcrow> it hasn't been too terrible here -- we've had some nice cool and breezy days lately (northern virginia)

[16:23] <KK> I was in Milton, PA. Many a year ago, in May, and it was HOT.
[16:24] <whytcrow> 100+?  Urk...it got like that a couple of times when I lived in FL.  No more for me.
[16:24] <KK> We aren't having much in the way of summer here in Ireland.
[16:24] <Kendall> It actually rained here today and cooled from the 90's to the 70's

[16:27] <KK> I was ready to boot ICQ earlier today.  Could not connect to my friend in Vienna.  Not sure if I was doing something wrong or she was.  It is NOT user-friendly.
