Very good news indeed!  I will continue to keep them in my thoughts.

From @HoundMistress via PM, awful news:

"I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts, but my SIL [name redacted] passed away early this morning either from the CA directly or from complications of the surgery she had 2 weeks ago. I probably will miss Chat tonight. [SIL] was only 54. My DB2 is devastated."

Continuing prayers/support/etc. for the family.  :'(
"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)

So very sorry to hear this. I know how devastating such a loss is. Am keeping HM and family in prayers. Know that we are all thinking of you and sending our healing thoughts and love to all of you.

So sorry to hear this. 54 is no age and this is a particularly hard time of year. My sympathy to you all.
Let God rise up, let his enemies be scattered;
    let those who hate him flee before him.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
    as wax melts before the fire,
    let the wicked perish before God.
(Psalm 68 vv1-2)

What sad news. 2019 hasn't been kind to our Deryni family at all. My prayers to you and your family @HoundMistress

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers & good wishes for this very difficult time for our family. Her funeral will be Sat, so I may not make next week's Chat, either. It has truly been an awful year  for our group as well as other family & friend losses. I hope God will grant us all an easier year in 2020.

 Judy, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Sister-in-law. Truly there IS no good time for this kind of loss. But at this time of year seems doubly hard.  Sending comfort and courage to all those who knew and loved your SIL.

Begone already, 2019.
