Title: Socratic Story
Post by: Elkhound on February 27, 2016, 05:56:40 PM
A young man came to Socrates and said that he was thinking about getting married.

"That is good," said Socrates, "for if you choose a good wife she will make you happy."

"But, Socrates," asked the young man,"what if I choose a bad one?"

"Then," replied Socrates, "she will make you a philosopher."

How can we work this into the Dernyverse?

I wonder how philosophical Jehana made Brion feel at times? ;)

Marriage is like playing cards.  You start out with two hearts & a diamond, and before too long you are wishing you had a club & a spade.

I would imagine he is at least part of the time. =o) But perhaps all husbands feel that way at some point. But I don't get the feeling that he and Oksana don't care for one another. They've done pretty well by their children, too.
