Description: This is the "kitten" (ha, he weighs 13lbs/5.9 kg) who came to stay last Christmas.  He's just about exactly a year old now, and he is nigh impossible to photograph awake because he does NOT hold still.  In any case, a rare photo of waking Merlin for your perusal.

I'm not sure what is in the left of the photograph.  It might be a scratchpad, badly out of focus.  I didn't take this picture and in fact was not present when it was taken, so beats me.
