Title: Migraine
Post by: Bynw on August 22, 2017, 02:48:04 PM
I've been suffering a bad migraine (the worst I've ever had thus far) since Saturday 11pm.  It's now Tuesday and I still have a headache, the strength of which has gone down some since it peaked Monday.

ouch! Bynw, get well!
If the trigger is not obvious, like caffeine or MSG, it might be a good idea to see your doctor about it.
Personally, I have found that MSG or Organic vegetables where the farmer used MSG, causes me to think my head is splitting into two parts.

Well I know it's not caffeine. I have a lot of that all the time. It actually helps remove my headaches.

Hope your headache goes away and stays away, Bynw.  Warm thoughts for a quick recovery.

Ouch, so sorry about the migraine. I only rarely get one, and when I do, I usually just get the visual aura, which isn't much fun, but not nearly as bad as the full-blown sort of migraine. I hope you can find an effective med for yours.

Ugh.  Much sympathy.

Migraines are totally made of fail and suck.  I hope yours goes away soon.

Does protein help your migraines? Sometimes they help me, especially if my body is lacking in protein.

protein can sometimes help any headache.

but curling up in a ball in a dark room away from noise is great for migraines

So sorry to hear about the migraine, I know they are miserable and I hope yours goes away soon. I do have a friend who had debilitating headaches. She was treated with Botox and no longer has them. You might ask your doctor about that.
