Me too, DR!
Me too :)
'Fraid I'm a second-edition owner, too. ::)
I've got a first edition Codex, but I'm not sure what number it is.
Kathleen/Lenni
second edition here
I am now the proud owner of #237. the copy is signed and appears to be unused. Looks and feels like it is brand new. It was not cheep, but I feel so lucky to have gotten it.
I am one of the 500 hardcover original codex owners. #210 (edited with the correct number)
I did get mine when they first came out so it was the original $50 for it. Of course now they go for hundreds of dollars when they show up on Ebay and other places.
I have the second edition. Mine is a soft cover. Congrats to those who managed to score one of the original hard cover editions.
I poke my nose in here semi-irregularly. :)
I've got #178; I was the original (and only) purchaser.
I have copy 31. I had to return my first cooy for a new one because it arrived damaged.
I have copy #92. I also have the softcover edition.
I have a copy of the Codex. I find it hard to know if someone is Deryni or Human. I can't tell if the Codex is clear on that. Is Davet Nevan Deryni? It doesn't say in his entry that he is, but I thought, upon reading the Camber trilogy, that he was.
The Codex does clearly state on some characters if they are Human or Deryni. But apparently it's not there for all characters.
