Is there a preference for which volumes to pick up? I have the most recent half dozen or so. Thanks.

Hi,
I have found old copies in charity shops and specialist SF shops. It is very hard to find most of the early books in the UK, someone needs to do omnibus editions here like they do in France. :o

JulianneTK

Do you mean old copies of the earlier books or of the zines?

morgan

As I said in another topic, I found them on Amazon; I had to buy them used but it's ok

Obiwan3

I meant the 'zines. I believe I have all the published books. Even a few duplicates. OOPS!

And I'm semi-patiently awaitng #20! Thanks.

morgan

Sorry, I don't know what a "zine" is.

Sorry, I don't know what a "zine" is.

Darn that American English!   A 'zine is a magazine.  In this instance, Deryni Archives, the Magazine - <http://www.airsid.net/C/75.htm>

??? how do i go about buying any of the magazines.

Braniana

At airsid.net there's a link to the 'zine page, with ordering information.  The site's undergoing an overhaul now, and that page didn't want to load for me tonight.  Maybe someone else can assist?

It will be easiest if you contact Julianne  Toomey-Kautz who is the current editor of DA the Zine. You can send her a private message on this board, as she's a member. Scroll up and you'll see she has an entry on this thread. I'm sure she'll be happy to help you out with the ordering information. I'm not sure Airsid is even still available as the webmistress thereof has become too busy to maintain it.

Yes, I'm still here.  And as far as I know, Deryni Archives the Zine is remaining on Kiri's Airsid site, for which I  am devoutly grateful!

Sorry I've had to drop off the face of the newsgroups for a while. We've been having some major work done on the house -- new roof, all new windows -- and everything has been a disaster here for more than a month.  I've been told that tomorrow is the contractor's last visit. Thank God!  Then I have to finish cleaning the house. There is white sawdust EVERYWhere!  Ick!  But I have found things like my zine pricing/weighing (weight for postage, you know) list again and will get back in business.

There won't be mailing for a while, though. My car flunked inspection and goes to the mechanic tomorrow (Monday 7/14).

When that's done, I have some edited stories to email to KK for issue 20.

Oh, and I was just up at Staples Copy Center picking up some back issues of the zines so those kind people who have been waiting for their zines should be seeing them soonish.

Outstanding news! Sorry about your car; my truck did that to me. So I can wait semi-patiently a litle longer. Thanks, Julianne.

JulianneTK

Old copies of the zine are now available (although my poor car hasn't passed inspection yet: the mechanic who was putting in my new clutch had some sort of diabetic shock and went into the hospital--poor guy).

Email me here if you can't get on Kiri's Airsid site.  Please remember that I need zip code (or country) to be able to quote postage for you!
