I'm really glad Cinhil refused to be a blip in the historical annals.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
(Psalm 46 v1)

Shiral

No King of Gwynnedd worth his salt was going to settle for being a "blip"! If the poor late Duke of Claiborne was a worthy successor to Ewan, then Cinhil is a worthy successor to Kelson and his other Haldane forbears!

If a 6x3 plot is all that Torval, Haakon and Ingrid can expect, I hope Remy ends up in a particularly nasty final resting place.

But Poor Rhemuth!  :'(

And let Devyn find and rescue that Healer right smart quick!
You can have a sound mind in a healthy body--Or you can be a nanonovelist!

Jerusha

I do hope Remy is headed for a squidgy, rancid bog somewhere.  And those are my nicest thoughts.

All that aside, a moving chapter, Evie.  I agree, Cinhil has become a character to rally behind to the very end.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night...good Lord deliver us!

If I recall, the originator of the "You cannot have my kingdom except the plot of land I bury you on" retort added that he would offer more land for the leader as he was quite tall. I think it might have been Harold Godwinson offering "six feet of ground, or as much more as he needs, as he is taller than most men" to Harold Hardrada

It would have been amusing for Cinhil to offer "What each of you shall receive no more and no less than six by three by six feet of land in each portion of Our Kingdom that you have requested of Us, save for the young King who will need a little less as I am told he is quite small."

Is there a place called camber Rhea? I had heard of Candor Rhea but not Camber Rhea. Just curious

There's only Candor Rhea, but if I had a typo in the story, I can go back and correct it when I get a moment.

Weird! It looks like the exact same post got reposted two hours later, but in the meantime I have already corrected the typos. Thanks for pointing them out.
