Yes, mine will occasionally send me on very strange routes, but only if traffic is hopelessly snarled on the interstate with no logical way around the jam on any of the more conventional routes. But it's a lifesaver at those times, because it finds routes I didn't even know existed.

[18:45] <CambersGhost> [discord] <evie.delacourt> It's similar to Google Maps, Laurna, but it also tracks other Waze users in real time and if there is a sudden traffic jam, it sees how others are finding ways around it and then updates driving routes for you accordingly
[18:45] <CambersGhost> [discord] <shiral_> I remember getting royally lost when some map told me to make a  "Sharp left" when I really maded to make a plain old U turn.
[18:46] <CambersGhost> [discord] <evie.delacourt> So if there is an accident on my main route, either Waze or Google Maps will let me know, but often Waze is better at helping me quickly find a way to bypass it using a route I would never have dreamed of using (sometimes because I didn't know it existed).
