She did bearing-range.. for about 5 minutes, then did a mighty leap, knocked the spider onto the dresser top, then pounced on it and ate it. I watched the whole operation with amazement.

[18:32] <KK> In other news, I have finally got my delayed knee surgery rescheduled. Date is now Wednesday, October 2. Wish it ws sooner, but that's the best they could do. And I must repeat the pre-admission testing, which must be done within 30 days of the surgery.

[18:35] <CambersGhost> [discord] <azdesertrose> My mom is having similar issues with scheduling her right hip replacement. She keeps flipping back and forth between "please right now!" and "after hurricane season has peaked, because no power and limited mobility aren't a good mix."

[18:42] <KK> I also have walkers for house and car, and several strategically placed canes.  I hope to get back to mostly cane soon, and do away with all of them by this time next year.
[18:42] <HoundMistress> Yes, they are awkward any way you do it. I had people at work who would get it out and put it back for me.
[18:43] <CambersGhost> [discord] <azdesertrose> My issue is balance as well as pain and weakness, so I expect I'm a mobility aid user for the rest of my days, unless something happens to fix my balance problem.
[18:43] <The_Bee> No walker, but I park my trike inside at church.  people hold the door for me.
[18:43] <KK> My one that lives in the car is bare basics, and travels on the floor behind the drivers' seat.  Fairly easy to get in and out.  I wouldn't try it with a rollator; too fiddly and heavy.
[18:43] <HoundMistress> I'm looking forward to getting off the cane but not quite ready yet.
[18:44] <HoundMistress> My rollator folds and fits in the back of the Equinox

[18:45] <KK> Cambers Ghost, I hear you.  Balance issues are what have me using a walker in the house.  I'm hopeful that this will resolve with physio, once my two knees match.
