Thank you Dermercia, I see it now!
That clearly solves the small riddle that has seemed to wake me up at 4:30 am (That and the fact the house is still 80F and I had to get up to turn the AC on) Now I can go back to bed and dream.

Now that wold be fun, hearing twin sisters recite Branagh's speech. My dear cousin took me to the film in my youth and I was much impressed by it then.
May your horses have wings and fly!

Demercia

Sorry Laurna and DR for replying to the wrong person!
The light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not.

What a wonderful chapter, revanne!  I love your entertaining imagination.

I do wonder if Duncan will be tickling a sleeping dragon in Chapter 4.   :)
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night...good Lord deliver us!

 -- Old English Litany

I had intended the sleeping dragon to refer to Duncan himself, and the singeing he gave to the unsuspecting Kelric, however mention of a certain red dragon has set a hare or two running in my brain. Hares that most definitely don't belong to St Melangell.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
(Psalm 46 v1)

Laurna

Ah now, there lies a sleeping dragon's heart within the body of the sleeping lion of the McLain's?  That must be the Vera/Alice half of Duncan's blood lines. big Smile.
Please, do let those hares run wild through the flowering garden. They will only cause a little mischief.
May your horses have wings and fly!
