Scanners the Movie

It's a early 80's movie, of a group of people who are gifted with telepathic and telekinetic powers.  I'm going to rewatch it as I haven't seen it in years. Besides the gory exploding head scene which made it famous (or infamous) I do not remember much other than one group of Scanners were good and did not abuse their powers and another group were bad and used their powers for evil.

only the first one in the series was any good. i would skip the sequels.

Definitely skip the sequels. But the original was a classic of its kind.

Original was the ONLY good one. Remember seeing  at the theater, good story line. The last 15 minutes are awesome. There were lots of gasps,screams, and other adjectives😆
