I was really shocked the first time I heard someone pronounce Rhys as Reece like the csndy. I had always thought of his name as like the grain rye with an -s sound at the end.

Adding my voice to the welcome, I'm an avid lurker in the castle but only an occasional poster. I'm another Brit, so can only make the Zoom chats.  Re pronunciation- it's odd that KK's pronunciation Of names seems closer to this side of the Pond.

I agree about the pronunciations. I have used the wrong way of saying several words for more than 30 years and it is hard to say them the way KK says them. but I am trying.
I fear my biggest error comes from the word Deryni. I just can not find myself saying Der-enny(all soft e ) I have always said Der-in-i ( hard i at the end).  Not sure when the day will come when I pronounce it KK's way. On zoom chat I supposed I will need to get it right. LOL
