I just graduated (or took part in the days long ceremonies) and yesterday, the night drive home was so stormy and long I expected a fight for the Fairy Flag at the end of it  ;)  I pray that I now have enough free time to take the feedback I have been given and make something of it. Thank you for the advice!

as i was digging through books I've had a long time and needing something to read, I started The king's Buccaneer by Ray Feist. While he openly admits he borrowed from Tolkien (half elvin characters and dwarves), I found a lot a similarities to this world. A young prince, with a club foot, aided by people with magical properties including the ability to search long range , a cousin who competes for the same woman and seems a little dark, on a quest in a medieval era world.
Ok maybe reaching a little but so far its been a good read but also the second book in an unfinished trilogy (!).

Laurna

I love Raymond E Fiest, There are a lot of good books in his arsenal. If I remember correctly, I started with "the Magician" and followed the adventures of Pug. I always liked Pug.
