KK Chat - Sept. 23, 2001

[16:36] *** KK has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[16:37] <the_Bee> Hi KK!
[16:37] <Mak> Hi, Katherine!
[16:37] <Serenity> Hi KK!
[16:37] * scribbler sends greetings to KK
[16:37] *** Bynw sets mode: +o KK
[16:37] <Helenmary> My Baltimore station will be rebroadcasting ST Sunday at 8pm
[16:37] <Sedina> Hello, Katherine!
[16:37] <Princess_E> carol shouldnt you be at the hospital
[16:37] *** Gamgee has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[16:37] <Bynw> Hiyas Katherine!
[16:37] <KK> Hello, all.
[16:37] <Princess_E> hi kk
[16:37] <Jessie_afk> hello Katherine
[16:37] <Helenmary> You could check your local station for when they will be.
[16:37] <Jessie_afk> Hello GAmgee
[16:37] <Serenity> Hi Gamgee
[16:37] <Mak> Hi Gamgee
[16:37] <scribbler> KK -- Jasta sends her love and regrets; she had to go nap and couldn't stay for you....
[16:37] <Carol> Carol says bye! =)
[16:37] <Gamgee> hello all!
[16:37] <Helenmary> Hi Katherine!
[16:37] * scribbler sends greetings to Gamgee
[16:37] <Sedina> Hey Sam
[16:37] <Carol> Hello Katherine
[16:37] <KK> Ah, then Jasta is home?
[16:37] *** Carol is now known as Kiri`
[16:38] <Kiri`> Hello Katherine
[16:38] <Princess_E> by cg
[16:38] <scribbler> I think she just got home today....
[16:38] <KK> That sounds about right.  I've been getting updates on the Michaeline list.
[16:38] <Princess_E> boo
[16:38] <Kiri`> Elsa - Carol is off of work today.. it's Sunday
[16:38] <Kiri`> =)
[16:38] <Kiri`> later all ! =)
[16:38] *** Kiri` has left #Deryni_Destinations
[16:38] <scribbler> she's more or less in one piece, but sore....
[16:39] <KK> Someone described it as being kicked in the gut by a horse about every five minutes.
[16:39] <Serenity> ouch
[16:39] <scribbler> sounds like her description....
[16:39] <KK> Yep, but it's a brave thing she's done, and should give her a much enhanced quality of life.
[16:39] <scribbler> What kind of surgery was it?
[16:39] <scribbler> I didn't have a chance to ask....
[16:39] <Golux> Katherine, thank you for joining now.  I got my chair and computer back from Elsa.
[16:40] *** Jessie_afk is now known as Jessie
[16:40] <KK> I forget the technical term, but it was a stapling and resection for serious weight reduction.
[16:40] <KK> I looked at the website and read all about it.
[16:40] <the_Bee> Scribbler:  bariatric surgery--rearranging the digestive tract to promote weight loss
[16:41] <Gamgee> it's something like "Duoadnal switch" surgery
[16:41] <KK> Bariatric--that's it!
[16:41] <Sedina> that's the correct term, bee...
[16:41] <scribbler> Ah -- fortunately I won't have to resort to that; finally going on thyroid supplements seems to be working with my weight loss....
[16:41] <the_Bee> i looked up the website but didn't save the URL
[16:41] <Serenity> KK, by the time of KKB, are Richenda and Brendan publicly known as Deryni, or do only their close associates know?  Would the people of Marley know that Brendan is Deryni?
[16:41] <KK> Anyway, the weight problem is something she's been fighting for as long as I've known her, which is well over 20 years.  This is a serious taking control of her situation--and I'm proud of her for doing it.
[16:42] <scribbler> Good question, Serenity.....
[16:43] *** Mak Quit (QUIT: User exited)
[16:43] <scribbler> Aww -- Mak left without saying "Byebye!"
[16:43] <KK> I was going to say that it was well known in Corwyn, but in thinking about it, I'm not sure.  The initial hostility to her was because her first husband was a traitor.  The Deryni factor may not have been that
widely known.
[16:44] <scribbler> Mark is watching the memorial ceremony from Yankee Stadium -- about the only thing that would keep him away from football or baseball...
[16:44] <KK> We do know that Brendan has started developing useful skills--so it's going to become known.  But it's also becoming less of a negative factor.
[16:45] <KK> We've got the memorial on here, too.
[16:45] <Jessie> Katherine:  how did writing go this week?
[16:45] <Serenity> I'm curious about how the people of Marley would feel about Brendan.  THey were fiercely loyal to Bran, so I guess they would be loyal to his son.  Were any of Bran's highranking lords and officers executed for their part in his treason?
[16:45] <KK> I got a few pages written Friday, but it's been slow getting back into gear.
[16:46] <KK> Bran's treason was pretty much solo, I think.  And Brendan will be well accepted in Marley when he comes of age and returns fulltine.
[16:46] *** Jessie is now known as Jessie_afk
[16:46] <scribbler> KK -- I've been researching how the Jews saw the archangels, and they seem to invoke them in a different order than in the warding sequence (we saw that in Adept III too). Would all warding start from the East, or could it start in another quarter?
[16:46] <Serenity> One more Marley question-- what is the capital of Marley?
[16:46] <the_Bee> But all Bran's men followed him into treason when they attacked Duke Jared's army.
[16:47] <KK> What does the Codex say about Marley?
[16:47] <Serenity> I don't have a Codex.  Sigh.
[16:47] <scribbler> Calling all Codex owners.....
[16:48] <KK> Re archangels, one could invoke them in a different order.  And we know that the Muslims use different color symbolism and symbols.
[16:48] <Helenmary> Oh, oh, let me find it <G>
[16:48] <scribbler> I'll just have to figure out which Guardian to put where, I guess....
[16:49] <Helenmary> "The seat of Marley is the quaint old town of Marbury."
[16:49] <KK> Bran's men followed their lord, probably thought he had good reasons for his orders on that day.  Probably some did not go along.
[16:49] <KK> Yep; couldn't remember that off the cuff.
[16:49] *** AEve has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[16:49] <the_Bee> KK, there must have been Portals at Castle coroth.  Morgan doesn't know where they are, but does someone else in Childe morgan?
[16:49] <Sedina> Hi AEve
[16:49] <Serenity> Would some have afterwards used Wencit's magic to justify why Bran (AND his army) turned traitor?
[16:50] <AEve> Hello all :)
[16:50] <scribbler> One more question, I've misplaced my copy of the DA book and I don't have a Codex: What year was Jorian DeCourcy burned, and when did Loris replace De Nore as Archbishop? Or did Loris replace De Nore? I'm not sure....
[16:50] <Serenity> Thanks, Helenmary
[16:50] <KK> Probably, Bee, though I'll have to come up with a good rationale for why Alaric doesn't know about them.
[16:50] * scribbler sends greetings to AEve
[16:50] <Jessie_afk> hello AEve
[16:50] <Helenmary> My pleasure.  Its nice to finally be ABLE to answer Codex questions <G>
[16:51] <KK> Helenmary, could you please look up those dates and the Valoret succession, since you've got your Codex to hand?
[16:51] <the_Bee> Maybe Alaric was raised on Kenneth Morgan's lands, or at court?
[16:51] <Serenity> Hi AEve
[16:51] <scribbler> the army could always argue that they were following orders....after all, the people of Coroth turned traitor against Morgan and Kelson, and didn't seem to suffer any ill consequences....
[16:52] <the_Bee> They were obeying the primate.
[16:52] <Bynw> de nore ended in 1114 with Loris picking up in 1115
[16:52] <KK> Alaric would have been shifted back and forth.  He definitely spent a lot of time at court once Kenneth had died.
[16:52] <Helenmary> Sure, but I missed which dates you mean; I assume the Valoret succession is the Primate succession?
[16:53] <KK> brb
[16:53] <scribbler> Helenmary -- I wanted the year Jorian got burned, then the Valoret primate succession.....
[16:54] <Serenity> Was de Nore as fanatical about burning Deryni as Loris?
[16:54] <scribbler> oh, and what was Loris before he got Valoret -- was he the auxilary for De Nore?
[16:54] <scribbler> Absolutely -- he was the one who burned Jorian in "The Priesting of Arilan"
[16:54] <Bynw> de Nore was a fanatic too
[16:54] <Helenmary> 1104 for de Courcy's burning
[16:54] <the_Bee> While you're Codex-ing, how was Alyce related to the previous duke?  Daughter, or other?
[16:55] <Bynw> Jorian de Courcey was burned at the stake in november of 1104
[16:55] <scribbler> I'm thinking that Loris may have been acquainted with De Nore, since he was buddy-buddy with his chaplain, Gorony.....
[16:56] <Serenity> Another set of Codex questions:  What were the names of Bran Coris' father and grandfather, and what years did they rule Marley (I'm trying to write a fanfic story, so that's why I'm asking all these questions)
[16:56] * scribbler thinks that Codex II can't come out a minute too soon....
[16:57] <Helenmary> It just says that Alyce was the daughter of the Earl of Lendour and Stevana Heiress of Corwyn
[16:57] * Serenity agrees wholeheartedly with Scribbler
[16:57] <the_Bee> old duke's granddaughter, then
[16:57] <KK> Yep.
[16:58] <scribbler> wb KK
[16:58] <KK> Great barking downstairs.  Not a cat, though.
[16:58] <the_Bee> cats don't bark
[16:58] *** RainbowDragon has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[16:58] <AEve> lol Bee
[16:58] * scribbler sends greetings to RainbowDragon
[16:58] <Sedina> wb Mike
[16:58] <Serenity> I once had a cat who woofed when she was angry
[16:58] <the_Bee> Hi Rainbow dragon
[16:59] <KK> That's true.  Cats murfle, though.
[16:59] <Serenity> Hi RainbowDragon
[16:59] <scribbler> Murfle????
[16:59] <RainbowDragon> Hi all!
[16:59] <Helenmary> Father: Ryan Earl of Marley; no grandfather mentioned that I can find
[16:59] <AEve> Hello RainbowDragon
[16:59] <scribbler> Still waiting on Valoret succession....
[16:59] *** RainbowDragon is now known as RainbowMike
[16:59] <Serenity> any dates, HM?
[16:59] <Golux> Would Rebecca have it?
[16:59] <KK> The grandfather would be in the list of Earls of Marley, unless Bran's father inherited from a brother or cousin.
[16:59] <Helenmary> I think my dogs heard your dog Katherine, cause they are barking, too.
[17:00] <KK> Loris succeeded de Nore.
[17:00] <scribbler> Year?
[17:01] <Jessie_afk> Bran Coris parents:  Ryan Coris & Florisa Howell, grandfather not given -- great grandfather:  Banan Coris
[17:01] <Bynw> 1115 is when Loris became ArchBishop
[17:01] <KK> 1115
[17:01] <Serenity> Bynw said Loris took over in 1115--he posted it a few minutes ago
[17:02] <scribbler> I missed that -- may have been distracted by husband talk....
[17:02] *** Helenmary Quit (QUIT: User exited)
[17:02] <Bynw> de Nore died in 1114 though ...would have to look up the details for how many months in between if any
[17:02] <Serenity> Florisa Howell-- related to Ian Howell of Eastmarch? Wasn't Ian's last name Howell?
[17:02] * the_Bee hands out flagons of English cider and a platter of manchet bread with butter, honey, and strawberry preserves
[17:03] *** Princess_E Quit (Timed Out)
[17:03] <KK> It might have taken a few months to elect a new archbishop.
[17:03] <Serenity> We ran Helenmary off with all our codex questions
[17:03] <scribbler>  Was Loris the auxilary bishop to De Nore, or did Gorony pull some strings to get him Archbishop?
[17:04] <the_Bee> Loris outranked gorony, didn't he?
[17:04] *** Helenmary has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[17:04] <the_Bee> Why didn't Gorony try to grab the archbishophric for himself?
[17:04] <Helenmary> Well, that was exciting
[17:04] <scribbler> yes, but since Gorony was De Nore's chaplain, he may have been able to do some dirty work....
[17:04] <Serenity> WB Helenmary
[17:04] <the_Bee> wb Helenmary
[17:04] <Sedina> wb Helenmary
[17:05] <RainbowMike> WB Helenmary
[17:05] <AEve> wb Helenmary
[17:05] <Helenmary> Somebody asked a question right before I got sent to NeverNeverLand
[17:05] <Serenity> Was Florisa Howell related to Ian Howell of Eastmarch?
[17:05] <the_Bee> we were afraid we'd driven you away with questions, Hel
[17:05] <scribbler> I remember how many votes it took to elect Jaffray's successor....
[17:05] <KK> Gorony wasn't a bishop.  Usually, an archbishop was elected from among the bishops--though not always.
[17:06] <KK> Florisa might have been related.  I've never checked it.
[17:06] <scribbler> sort of like how a Pope usually comes from among the College of Cardinals?
[17:07] <KK> Yep.  And Of course, a pope isn't necessarily a former cardinal--though, in recent times, he always has been.
[17:07] <scribbler> Hmmm, you raise another question, Serenity: any connection between Ian Howell of Eastmarch and the slimy Coel Howell from Imre's court?
[17:07] <Helenmary> I don't see a ref to Florisa...
[17:07] <KK> Almost certainly.
[17:08] <scribbler> since both were icky creatures, I thought so....
[17:08] <Serenity> Where did Richenda's family come from.  I think High Deryni mentioned her dowry was some manors near Marley.
[17:08] * scribbler thinks that Coel and Ian bear strong resemblence to one of her ex-boyfriends....
[17:08] <Sedina> LOL scribs
[17:09] <Serenity> Good thing he's an ex, Scrib
[17:09] <KK> Ooo, Scribbler, bad judgment!
[17:09] <great_hooded_one> especially since she's married now
[17:09] <scribbler> Well, the guy blew me off for a date, then showed up at the same movie theater with a skinny blonde.....
[17:10] <Serenity> OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
[17:10] <scribbler> I would have gladly mind-ripped him, but that was about 5 years before I discovered the Deryni books....
[17:10] <Jessie_afk> Cole Howell is Ian Howell's 1st cousin 7 times removed
[17:10] <scribbler> thx, Jessie....
[17:11] <Serenity> I guess 7 times removed wasn't enough to reduce the slime factor
[17:12] <Helenmary> We had some "Kelson" fun here this week...
[17:12] <KK> Rheljan is up in the borders near Marley and Torenth.
[17:12] <scribbler> oh really? Sorry I missed it.....
[17:13] <Helenmary> Some of you may know that we had a dog named for King Kelson and that after he died my husband named a power plan for him...
[17:13] <the_Bee> power plan?
[17:14] <KK> Aha!  Now I have a name to connect with who gave me the Kelson Ridge bag at a Darkover a couple of years ago!  Helenmary, it was you!
[17:14] <Helenmary> Well, now the company has come out with a coloring book called "Kelson's First Book of Electricity and Recycling"
[17:14] <the_Bee> sounds like a plot
[17:14] <Helenmary> Power Plant that is
[17:14] <Helenmary> Yes, KK, that was me!
[17:14] <scribbler> Cool.....
[17:14] <Serenity> Kelson really was a King ahead of his time, wasn't he?
[17:15] <Helenmary> Anyway, the coloring book is a BIG hit in Charles County, MD
[17:15] <scribbler> maybe that can be a gift for Araxie's first child?
[17:15] <KK> Hoo-hoo!  I use it lots!  Thanks again!
[17:15] <Helenmary> I'm glad to hear it comes in handy
[17:15] <Serenity> Maybe Kelson's first child could be named Edison
[17:16] <KK> It's a lovely, capacious bag.  (Dare I say that I use it to tote laundry from the hamper to the laundry room, on occasion?
[17:16] <KK> It's big enough to carry a small child.
[17:16] <scribbler> That's a bright idea, Serenity....
[17:17] <Serenity> Ben Franklin Haldane
[17:17] <the_Bee> Michael Farraday haldane
[17:17] <Helenmary> I mostly lug dog stuff in mine...
[17:18] <scribbler> Edison Faraday Watt Haldane....
[17:18] <KK> In the coloring book, is Kelson the dog?
[17:19] <Serenity> Kelson teaches his son how to fly a kite. . . and. . .zap
[17:19] <scribbler> Instant Transfer Portal?
[17:19] <Serenity> Rhemuth becomes know as the City of Lights
[17:19] <Jessie_afk> thought he was hit by one of shiral's stray balls of magic fire
[17:19] <Golux> Kelson as Reddy Kilowatt
[17:19] <Helenmary> Yes, though he is considerably more rakish looking than our boy...our Kelson was handsome but rather worried looking
[17:19] <Serenity> Ooh a lighted shiral chandelier
[17:20] <KK> Would love to have one, if you've an extra....
[17:20] <scribbler> With all Kelson Haldane went through, he was probably a
little worried looking too....
[17:20] <Helenmary> I like the shiral chandelier - sounds very elegant.
[17:20] <KK> On occasion, on occaison....
[17:20] <Helenmary> Sure Katherine.  Would you like me to send it or bring
it to Darkover?
[17:20] <KK> YOu can bring it to Darkover, if you like.
[17:21] <Serenity> Maybe they can just plug Arilan in to light up the shiral chandelier on court occasions
[17:21] *** AEve Quit (Connection reset by peer)
[17:21] <scribbler> let see -- losing his father, having his mother try to execute his general, almost getting killed (twice), facing rebellion (twice)....
[17:21] <KK> A shiral chandelier with shiral dangles, and lit with little points of handfire.
[17:21] <RainbowMike> Peer! Bad!
[17:21] <the_Bee> Bad peer!
[17:21] * scribbler slaps Peer silly....
[17:21] *** duck  has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[17:21] <KK> Where's the frozen tigershark?!
[17:21] * scribbler sends greetings to duck
[17:21] <Golux> Quack
[17:21] <duck> morninh people
[17:21] <KK> Hi, Duck!
[17:22] *** Jessie_afk is now known as Jessie
[17:22] <Serenity> Hi Duck
[17:22] <Jessie> hello duck
[17:22] <Sedina> Good morning Duck!
[17:22] <RainbowMike> G'day, Duck!
[17:22] <the_Bee> Quack, Duck
[17:22] <duck> hi there katherine
[17:22] <scribbler> about the only thing that could lure Jessie back is the entry of Duck...
[17:22] <Jessie> have to make sure he is eating correctly scribbler
[17:22] *** Jessie is now known as Mum
[17:22] <scribbler> Ah --
[17:22] <duck> i nearly got eaten yesterday
[17:22] <Mum> ?
[17:23] <the_Bee> by what?
[17:23] *** Mum is now known as Jessie
[17:23] <scribbler> Hey, did Shiral say she was going to miss chat today? Haven't seen her....
[17:23] <Sedina> Eaten, Duck?
[17:23] <duck> i discovered that there is one thing worse than trying to remove an angry king brown from a trench
[17:23] <Sedina> Shiral's on vacation, scribbler...just like I supposedly am.  *l*
[17:23] <KK> Shiral is on vacation, up to Oregon.
[17:23] *** Kelric has joined #Deryni_Destinations
[17:23] <the_Bee> Shiral's visiting friends this weekend.
[17:23] <scribbler> Ah -- didn't know that....
[17:23] <KK> What one thing, Duck?
[17:23] <Helenmary> King Brown - a snake?
[17:23] * scribbler sends greetings to Kelric
[17:23] <RainbowMike> Where's Kiri?
[17:23] <scribbler> What
[17:23] <Sedina> And just what's worse than a king brown?
[17:23] <Kelric> afternoon all
[17:23] <duck> that's interupting two king browns in the trench having sex
[17:24] <scribbler> Kiri was in earlier....
[17:24] <Sedina> Hi Kelric
[17:24] <Jessie> oh dear duck
[17:24] <RainbowMike> OK
[17:24] <Sedina> Oh my...
[17:24] <Serenity> Hi Kelric
[17:24] <duck> bad move
[17:24] <Golux> She's off with her ex!!
[17:24] <Jessie> both were a bit upset with you -- and understandably so
[17:24] <KK> OOOO, Duck!  Sounds nasty.
[17:24] <duck> a bit upset - one of them nearly got out of the trench by itself
[17:24] <scribbler> Snakus interruptus....
[17:24] <Serenity> Lol, scibbler
[17:25] <Serenity> scribbler, I mean
[17:25] <Jessie> duckus snakus interruptus almost got bitacus
[17:25] <Sedina> They didn't think it was a spectator sport, Duck
[17:25] <RainbowMike> Both were King Browns? Or was one a Queen Brown?
[17:25] <duck> i got a picture for the voyeurs
[17:25] <Kelric> huh?
[17:25] <Golux> You should never interrupt any creatures having sex, unless one is your mate.
[17:25] * Kelric is clueless on what's going on here
[17:25] <the_Bee> especially not then!
[17:25] <Serenity> Maybe you could send it to the Enquirer, duck
[17:26] <Golux> Cool, where is it?
[17:26] <scribbler> duck was regaling us with his latest exploits in the field, Kelric...
[17:26] <the_Bee> Kelric:  Duck had a close encounter with a pair of king brown snakes.
[17:26] <RainbowMike> Doin' the nasty...
[17:27] <Kelric> ahh
[17:27] <Golux> and he interrupted them
[17:27] <Helenmary> Being a snake-a-phobe, I don't know much about them; are king browns fairly dangerous, I mean when they are NOT having sex!
[17:27] <duck> well i think they were in the smoking cigarettes phase of the horizontal tango
[17:27] <the_Bee> very poisonous
[17:28] <scribbler> I think they're poisonous, which means I stay clear too...
[17:28] <Golux> Good for them
[17:28] * Serenity stays clear of ALL snakes
[17:28] <Golux> Our rats should stay clear of ALL snakes
[17:28] <duck> they are the third most venomous snake species in the world or thereabouts
[17:28] <KK> So, did you get them out of the trench and on their way?
[17:29] * scribbler shivers....
[17:29] <duck> well there was the unfortunate thing
[17:29] <RainbowMike> They're a breed of cobra, right?
[17:29] <scribbler> you mean it gets worse, Duck?
[17:29] <duck> i don't actually know for sure mike
[17:29] <Helenmary> Why do you need to get them out of the trench?
[17:29] <duck> one of them got stuck in the net and had to be cut out
[17:30] <duck> which meant i had to pin it's head down with a forked stick and cut away at the netting
[17:30] <the_Bee> duck has to rescue any critturs that get trapped in the trench.
[17:30] <Sedina> Did you end up having to do a bit of running again?
[17:30] <Golux> Say Duck, on Oct 7 our church is having an outdoor Mass with our pets.  We will be bringing our dog and our rats.  You should join us with a snake or two....
[17:30] <duck> i'll bring the frog if you don't mind
[17:31] <Sedina> Yes, how is the frog doing?
[17:31] <scribbler> I'll see if my church will bless a Duck in abstentia....
[17:31] <duck> haven't seen her around for a while - probably found some other bloke - you know how princesses are?
[17:32] <Helenmary> St John the Devine in NY does that every year - they usually even have an elephant from the zoo
[17:32] <scribbler> brb -- need to go watch the Giants game quickly....
[17:32] <Sedina> She likely figured you were taking too long to decide whether to kiss her or not
[17:33] <KK> So, did the snakes get away?
[17:34] <duck> well i don't know if it suffocated itself trying to get out of the net or was playing dead and i didn't stick around to find out - i suspect the latter though
[17:34] <Golux> This is the first time our church will be having a blessing of the animals WITH AN OUTDOOR MASS!
[17:34] <KK> Hope it doesn't rain, or fog you in badly.  I'll bet you get lots of fog, over where you are.
[17:35] <the_Bee> Oh?  where are you, golux?
[17:35] <Helenmary> I hope somebody has thought to provide, umh, sanitary bags for the ceremony.
[17:35] <Golux> October is usually the warmest month of the year!
[17:35] <scribbler> back....
[17:36] <scribbler> we've got some high clouds or fog down on the Peninsula, KK....
[17:36] <RainbowMike> Who's ahead.... the Giants or the Davids?
[17:36] <scribbler> LOL Mike....
[17:36] <Golux> San Francisco, in the Sunset, which is the foggiest part of The City.
[17:37] <the_Bee> Is sunset Blvd. in San Francisco?
[17:37] <Serenity> Any new developments with Childe Morgan, KK?
[17:38] *** Bynw is now known as Bynw_Away
[17:38] <scribbler> There is a Sunset Blvd. in SF; I think the famous one is in LA....
[17:38] <KK> Well, guys, it's getting late here in Ireland, so I think I'd better sign off.  Only a few pages, Serenity.  I hope to be able to report more progress next week.
[17:38] <Golux> We have a sunset Blvd.  but The Sunset Blvd. is in La-La land, LA
[17:38] <great_hooded_one> there's *a* sunset blvd. but not *that* one
[17:38] <RainbowMike> Hi and Bye, KK!

[17:39] <the_Bee> 'nighters KK.  have a pleasant and productive week
[17:39] <scribbler> I'd best sign off too -- got zillions of errands to run before my busy week....
[17:39] * KK steps onto her Portal and waves goodbye, blowing kisses to all.
[17:39] <Golux> Bye KK, have a peaceful week
[17:39] * KK disappears in a shower of green sparkles.
