For the UK
« on: June 27, 2016, 11:59:00 PM »
I'm not in anyway wanting to start a political discussion, there are plenty of other places for that, but whatever part of the political spectrum you are on, the UK could use as many good thoughts and prayers as you can spare right now.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
(Psalm 46 v1)

Absolutely!  You've got them.

Regardless of your political position or any of those of your parishioners. I am thinking that your status in the community is in high demand this week. I can well imagine that you are handing out much compassion and wise words to many frazzled people. Remember to keep a little of that compassion for yourself and at least enjoy an few private moments, Like a hot bath, or a soft couch and some soothing music.
Wishing all The British to be well.

My thoughts come your way as well, revanne.  And a virtual glass of Fianna to go with that hot bath.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night...good Lord deliver us!

Good wishes to all, and now that a decision is made, like to remind all Britons that the Commonwealth hasn't gone away: we were your major trading partners a generation ago and can be again. Given the price of food in the UK, you clearly need Aussie imports - and we have always been interested in your goods in return  8)

That's my hope too, that this will not mean we turn in on ourselves. The commonwealth covers a huge diversity of peoples, some of whom occasionally graciously allow us to win at cricket. (Ducks and runs).

Um ... do you export sunshine?

Wouldn't it be nice! Still, the next best thing is the Commonwealth Freedom of Movement Organisation (https://www.facebook.com/cfmo.org/?fref=ts) which would make it easier for you to soak up our sun; and for us to do things like go sailing on the Broads.  ;D
