Culdee

From my first reading of the name Culdi, I wondered if there was any association with these:

There are phonological problems since the earlier pronunciation seems to have been more like coolday.  Still, it's interesting to speculate.

These is a Scottish place-name, Culduie<Cuil Dubh, black crook/nook.
