Car Accident
« on: October 01, 2019, 11:37:18 am »
Hey all,

Could use some of that prayer magic myself. I got rear ended coming home last night on the freeway. In pain and some damage to my car. Could have been a lot worse but can still use the help.

Oh NO!   :o  Bynw, Take care of yourself. You saw the doctor? Yes? Do what you need to do to be well. Big hug and healing touch sent through cyber space to you.
Hope the car can be repaired.  :(

Yikes!  Hopefully the pain can be treated (and even more hopefully, eliminated) and that either the car can be repaired or the other driver's insurance has to pay for a replacement.

Oh goodness, Bynw!  Hope everything heals quickly with no lingering after effects.  Thoughts are with you.  A nice snuggle with your Bengal kitty would be in order.

Prayers for your healing.
Let God rise up, let his enemies be scattered;
    let those who hate him flee before him.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
    as wax melts before the fire,
    let the wicked perish before God.
(Psalm 68 vv1-2)

Ack! Nothing like a collision to wreck your day. Glad it wasn't worse than that, but it's bad enough to be getting on with.  I had a previous car totalled on the freeway--luckily, I got knocked onto the highway shoulder rather than into traffic, but it was very scary. So I don't blame you at all for feeling shaken. Seriously Bro, go see a doctor if you don't feel better by tomorrow.  Hope your car can be repaired, and that the other driver had insurance.

So sorry to hear about the accident. Glad it wasn't worse but I'm sure you have enough to deal with. Be sure to get checked  out by a doctor. Sometimes the full injuries don't show up right away. Sending prayers and healing touch to you. Hoping for a quick recovery.

Thanks all and I see folks would like an update from the Shoutbox too.

So I am still in pain. I've been to the doctor and nothing is broken just a lot of strained points. I was off work yesterday and tried to go back to work today. But with my wrist in a brace it's hard to type or move a mouse. Also the chairs were just hurting my back too much I came home at lunch time.

Recovering but slowly.

Glad nothing is broken, but soft-tissue injuries often hurt worse than broken bones.  Be gentle with yourself, and if you can do physical therapy, do it; it'll suck at first but it'll get you at least close to where you were before the crash.

Sorry to be so slow getting some good thoughts & hopefully healing energy to you. Having been in a few myself, I know those aches and pains can just wear you out. Take care of yourself!
