Afraid so, although there is apparently a specific type of cake called "bishop's cake."  :D

ETA:  It's similar to a pound cake, but I think a little smaller, because it calls for a mere half-pound of butter.  ;)

I've actually made Bishop's cake. It is indeed a very good poundcake recipe. Was remarkably disappointed it didn't turn into Duncan after baking, though.

Hope the next trip around the sun is full of good health, interchangeable doll heads and family prosperity!

Not quite medieval girl, not quite a handsome bishop, and not quite a lion dormant, but--- well, here goes.
