A very happy Easter to all the denizens of Rhemuth castle.
Enjoy the day with family and friends, hidden Easter eggs and good food.

Happy Easter everyone!

*Looks longingly at the basket of chocolate eggs and decides that is enough - for now.* :)

And it is Easter once again (at least in Europe, and soon enough on the east coast of North America).  Blessings!  :)

Speaking of chocolate bunny carnage, here is my solid dark chocolate Easter bunny, right before I unwrapped it, cut it into pieces, and froze it.

I learned the hard way to cut first, then freeze.  I broke the blade of a paring knife trying to cut a bit off a very similar chocolate bunny a few years ago, and when I say I broke it, I mean I shattered that blade into multiple pieces (which was a lot of fun to clean up off the kitchen floor  ::) ).

I'm not sure where my mom got the bunny (yes, I'm forty-two years old and my mom still buys me a chocolate Easter bunny); it might have been Publix (chain supermarket based in Florida that is slowly assimilating expanding into the rest of the southeastern US).

DR, you have a lot of will power if you can freeze that bunny, even in pieces, and not gobble that bunny up in less than a week. lol

And Good Job, DR's mom!

Well, the bunny being dark chocolate, it's pretty rich/intensely flavored to eat too quickly.  ;)

Happy Easter to those who celebrate, and blessed Palm Sunday to the Orthodox Christians (their Easter is next Sunday, because they calculate their liturgical calendar a little differently than most western Christian churches).

And yes, there's probably another dark chocolate bunny at my mom's house for me.  ;)

Hope everyone had a blessed and happy Easter!  We didn't do a thing yesterday & ate leftovers from Chili's for supper.
