There is a documentary out on Amazon Prime called "After Braveheart" which is about the Bruce Scots invasion of Ireland and their war against the Anglo-Norman invaders/settlers of Ireland. Kind of reminds me of the Torenth Festi/Moorish invasions Gwynedd. Its worth a watch to those who like Medieval history
"And as they tread the ruined Isle,
Where rest, at length,
the lord and slave,
They'll wondering ask, how hands so vile,
Could conquer hearts so brave?"
Thomas Moore

That sounds interesting, Lochiel.
May your horses have wings and fly!

Ireland in the Middle Ages is fascinating. The Anglo-Normans, the Danes, and the Scots all managed to have designs on it. And Robert Bruce's younger brother decided that if Rob got to be king in Scotland, why shouldn't he be king of Ireland? I love a bit of sibling rivalry.
