Has anyone noticed that Pons, Prince of Pardiac, was the Connaiti lord who supplied Loris and Gorony with mercenaries during the Mearan uprising?  I think it's ironic he hired his men out to the same armies that eventually led to his own daughter being raped (Janniver).  Talk about bad karma.

I was working on an idea I had for a story about Saron MacGregor turning down the opportunity to hire out his own men for the same cause, and stumbled across this in the Codex.  I'm also thinking about how he approached Kelson for restoration of Ebor.

I'm not sure the story is going to get anywhere, but I find I'm fascinated by the MacGregors.  [Perhaps, it's that I have some MacGregor ancestry of my own.  ;)]

I'd never noticed that!  And it would be cool to get a story about the MacGregors!

Love to read a story with the MacGregor's as a focal point.  I was always fond of Jesse MacGregor in the years of the Reagents.

I have not done any research on the MacGregor family tree. However I do have an ancestry list from my Codex studies that has some of the family listed. I will give it to you in hopes that it is of some use in your research.

Fascinating. I missed that.

You could always just post a scene or two of your story to get our imaginations going. That would be great.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I may post if I can get it far enough!
