When I came across this series, I became interested in reading it because KK was a co-author.  The use of magic in this series is similar to the Deryni books.  I have read all 5 books and wouldn't mind reading another brand new book one day.
We will never forget the events of 9-11!!  USA!! USA!!

Braniana

She does plan to do another Adept book, which would also be something of a "Lammas Night" sequel.  There's also talk of a prequel Adept book set in the 19th Century.  I'm looking forward to them as much as I am to the upcoming Deryni books.

Me too.  Katherine Kurtz is an excellent author.  She is truly gifted.

Starwoman

I have been hoping for another Adept book since I finished five.  I remember someone in the science fiction section of the book store suggesting book one after a brief conversation on how picky I seemed to be regarding this genre of books.  I went home and started reading.  Before I was half way through, I immediately went back and bought the rest of the series!

I do hope we get to go back into the world of The Adept!!!!!!!!

I thought that I read somewhere that there was going to be a book telling Phillipa's story - presumably it would answer the question I have not been able to answer: when and how did she meet Sir John Graham. There was an implication that she was part of the Lammas Night working, but I could find nothing in that book that could be said to point to her.

Having just re-read the entire series for the umpteenth time, I find the best part of all the stories is the way Adam, Noel and Pereegrine work together and with other Hunters. This is great story telling, when you care about the characters.

Also, these stories were the final impetus to my own involvement with Freemasonry, after 30 years of consideration.

Yes there is another adept book planned. It will take place in the past actually and be the bridge between Lammas Night and The Adept.

I guess I should go back and re-read KK's Llamas Night...  It's not the only one out there you know.  Lynn Abbey also had one.  VERY different if memory serves.. (I read them way back when they first came out.)  Hmmm maybe I should read them both?

I have been a fan of the Adept series since it came out when I first saw it at a supermarket. I read it the first time, but didn't get into it at the time. Then I reread it sometime later and devoured it. Then I found the next books and devoured them. I've reread them several times and even got my dad reading them. I have to wrest my copies away from him so he doesn't ruin them. I want a new Adept book to come out.

My husband and my mom-in-law are both huge fans of the Adept series -- they both keep asking me if I know when another one is coming out.  ;D

I just recently started this series. I really do love the characters so far, Sir Adam and Peregrine. The contact and subject matter I find to be exceptionally "deep."
