I love word search puzzles!    :)

For anyone thinking "What attached image?" you have to be looking at the actual thread, not reading from the "View recent messages" link. Click on the post title above Bynw's post (the part that says "Deryni Word Search" to see the original post with attachment.  (That might seem obvious to some, but since I nearly always read from the "View recent messages" link, my first reaction was "Um, what attachment?"   ;D

Also, if you've managed to make it to the actual post and see the attachment, but have no clue how to go about printing it, there is a little caption link under the graphic that you can click on to download the image. Then print that downloaded image using whatever software is on your computer that opens up picture images and lets you print them. (That's going to differ from computer to computer, so I'm afraid I can't hand hold you through that part!)

And I'm done!  More, please!   ;D

(To be fair, I spend every work day morning doing a word search puzzle while having a cup of coffee before starting my day, so I might have a bit more practice at doing these than most.)

@Evie

LOL. I will need to get a new word list. Don't have good one at work. I'll have to be at home where I have access to Codex I and II

That was fun, Bynw, but Meara was almost my downfall.  How appropriate.   ;D

I had trouble finding Meara too! I kept fixating on "Maera," assuming there was a typo in the puzzle, and nearly missed the correctly spelled word entirely despite searching for it several times.

I found every word but Morgan.  Why oh why is Morgan evading me?

Print? Really? I just used the window's snipping tool to select it, then used the built in pen in that program to circle the words and cross them off as I found them (Morgan must like me, his name was one of the first I found). When I was done I closed the snip without saving it, no paper wasted, and if I drew a line in a place I didn't want it, I could press the erase button to get rid of it. Much more fun than the word search books I used as a kid.  I suspect that all of the other types of computers have a similar built in tool these days, for those of you who aren't using a windows machine.

The snipping tool works too. But that only exists on Windows.

My  eyes, my eyes.  LOL
I printed this at 110% on landscape, which helped me see the letters.

OK, I'll bite. I have worked in Windows computers since the early 1990s, if not earlier, and I have no idea what you are referring to by "snipping tool"!  I am very familiar with cut/paste or copy/paste, but nothing that will let you snip something in a window and use a virtual pen to write on it. What am I missing?

Snipping Tool is a handy feature since Windows 7. Just got to your start and type Snipping Tool into your start search bard. It will find the program for you. It's kinda like screenshot but only what you want to be taken. And you can write on it with a pen or high lighter tool. And even save the image as a PNG image.

It's how I made that image for the first word search actually since I was at work at the time on a Windows computer.

Nope!  This time I opened it in Adobe Acrobat Pro and just used the built in highlight tool, as I was too lazy to go find the pencil too... :-P
