Title: Brandysnap
Post by: Demercia on October 01, 2018, 06:44:02 PM
I am very sad to say that I had to let Brandysnap go over the rainbow bridge tonight.  He was in septacaemic shock and clearly there was something very wrong internally.  He had had kidney troubles for 18 months but otherwise was fine up until this lunchtime.  He was just a month short of 17.  He was a lovely loving companion.  The young vet was in tears himself.

Demercia, so sorry to hear your news.  It's always hard to say farewell.  My thoughts and hugs go out to you.

I'm so sorry to hear that.  He was a lovely cat, and I could tell he was a great companion to you.

:'( *hugs*

A beautiful 17 year old soul in kitten form will be smiling at you from above.  Sorry to hear of your loss.

Awww....... Really sorry, Demercia. I've said good bye to my share of beloved cats and that always makes for a sad day. Brandysnap was a lucky cat--he knew love and security, and good care from the human that he loved. For cats, that's as good as it gets.  And at the end, you had the courage to ease his pain. But I know....the house feels terribly empty without them, especially at first.
