I know I've posted, but I thought I'd give my vials.

Name: John
Home: The Sears House my Great Grandfather built in laurel, MD.
First KK book: Deryni rising. I think I was 12.
Education: MA in Theology and Church History

I'm also a member of the SCA and am in the process of going into Holy Orders in The Old Catholic Church, Provence of the United States,
I am pretty much an open book, so ask any questions you might want.

Glad to meet you, John! Is that the SCA Kingdom of Atlantia or the East Kingdom? I'm down in the Kingdom of Meridies.  :)

Nice to "meet" you even though we've talked here on the forum and in chat.

Chiming in from Trimaris here.  :D
"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)

Welcome to the forum, John!

Although I live in Canada now, I grew up in Hagerstown, MD.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night...good Lord deliver us!

Welcome, John. I am one of the lurkers, but I had to say hello to a fellow Marylander.
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share
It's not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there'll be
No more turning away?

Hi John. Met you briefly in chat on Sunday. I'm one of the remote overseas easterners - UK that is for whom early chat is wonderful. I'm Anne and it's good to have you around.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
