Hello,

it were mainly the books of KK which brought me to the point to getting more fluent in English. I started out in German, but not all books were translated at that time and the german translation is tough to get used to. So I switched to English because I loved the series. First with the dictionary on the lap, later on the shelf and then without any further help... You get to learn so useful words as "supplication" but you can dive into a complete new universe.

Hello Tibi!  Well I speak no German at all, so I am very impressed.  I've heard of people learning another language through reading books as an ancestor of mine apparently taught himself English from an English Bible and a Gaelic Bible, but wouldn't have the patience to do it myself.
