Wrong fandom, I know, but I have to share this.
While discussing writing brogue, the Scots edition of Harry Potter came to light. I had to get it.
First page, third chapter
"He wis a muckle, beefy-boukit man wi a stumpie wee craigie, although he did hae a gey muckle mowser. Mrs Dursley wis a skinnymalinkie, blond-heidit wummin whase craigie wis jist aboot twice as lang as ither fowk's, which wis awfie haundy as she spent sae muckle time keekin ower gairden fences, nebbin at the neebors."

That is a good laugh that.  Can not wait to read the rest.

P.S. my spell check program is freaking out.  ;D
