[19:14] <@DeryniBot> Gwynedd's Sheriff, Marnin, nods to KK and checks their weapons at the door.
[19:14] <jemler> KK!
[19:14] <%TheDeryni> Tada!
[19:14] <~RainbowDragon> Greetings, KK!
[19:14] <+unicorn636> Hi KK

[19:15] <@KK> Wow, we've got a crowd tonight!
[19:15] <%DesertRose> Yay!! She's here!
[19:15] <%TheDeryni> Hi Katherine
[19:15] <duck> hello kk
[19:15] <+Shiral> Hello, Katherine
[19:15] <@Bynw> hiyas KK!
[19:15] <@KK> Happy New Year to All, and I hope you all had splendid holidays--Christmas, even.
[19:15] <+Shiral> We, the ever hopeful, have gathered to meet you. =o)
[19:15] <The_Bee> Happy New Year, Katherine!
[19:15] <+Shiral> Happy Twelfth Night!
[19:15] <@KK> Duck is even here.
[19:15] <@KK> Yes, it is, isn't it?
[19:15] <@Bynw> and susan too!!!
[19:16] <jemler> kk, i have to apologize. I didn't recognize your pic on RhemuthCastle.com. :(
[19:16] <@KK> My goodness, es!  Sosan, welcome back!
[19:16] <+Shiral> It is,  yes
[19:16] <+Shiral> There's feasting in Rhemuth, tonight
[19:16] <LeDuc> .........as I bow to you KK. thank you.
[19:16] <@KK> That pic is of me when I was Queen of the West.
[19:16] <+unicorn636> Thanks!   Now that my life is settling down a bit, I may actually be able to make it to chat once in a while.
[19:16] <%DesertRose> I thought it was the West but I wasn't sure.  I'm in Trimaris. :D
[19:16] <jemler> MidRealm
[19:17] <@KK> Sorry it had to be under such circumstances, but we're certainly glad you're here.
[19:17] <Elf> Antir.
[19:17] <The_Bee> Were you a Good Queen or a Wicked Queen, KK?
[19:17] * %TheDeryni leans over and whispers in Elf's ear:"That Queen Bevin is such a hottie."
[19:17] <%DesertRose> LOL
[19:17] <+Shiral> May EVERYONE stay healthy in 2008!
[19:17] <@KK> AMEN!
[19:17] * %DesertRose smacks TheDeryni's fingers. Naughty naughty!
[19:18] <%DesertRose> TD likes blondes. :D
[19:18] <@KK> I was a Good Queen, of course!
[19:18] <Elf> AMEN to that!
[19:18] <LeDuc> ans how is the next volume progressing, KK
[19:18] <+Shiral> AND a hottie
[19:18] <duck> before you'd written about ariella
[19:18] <@KK> Ahem...
[19:18] <%TheDeryni> heh
[19:18] <+Shiral> Another Hottie, Ariella
[19:19] <@KK> Sadly, I am slogging through the tax figures for cap gains on the sale of Holybrooke.  :-(
[19:19] <@KK> But it's gotta be done, alas.
[19:19] <The_Bee> oooch
[19:19] <%DesertRose> Bummer.
[19:19] * Elf grimaces
[19:19] <%TheDeryni> yuck
[19:19] <Elf> I know how you feel KK.. It is coming up on that season
[19:19] <LeDuc> ahh yes, 'the kingdom of the USA' demands their cut too
[19:19] <@KK> But I am looking forward to going to a local con, weekend after next, in Williamsburg.
[19:19] <+Shiral> Death and Taxes, yup
[19:20] <@KK> On a fannish digression, though...looking at the Rhemuth Castle site makes me think that might be a good place to move the official Deryni website.
[19:20] <%TheDeryni> Marscon
[19:20] <+unicorn636> I've got to find someone to do my taxes because they will be a mess this year.
[19:20] <duck> i once told the tax office that i couldn't do the return on time because it was too taxing
[19:21] <%DesertRose> LOL, duck.
[19:21] <Elf> LMAO, duck
[19:21] <@KK> Carolyn Shilts has been carrying the old site from the beginning, and I promised I'd see about making other arrangements once we'd gotten moved.  Bynw, are you here tonight?
[19:21] <Elf> I have heard that form others.. but the tax people usually have no sense of humour
[19:21] <@Bynw> yup
[19:21] * @Bynw is here
[19:21] * The_Bee hits duck over the head with a tax-return form
[19:21] <~RainbowDragon> Bynw is here.... somewhere
[19:21] <jemler> Who was King Gregory?
[19:21] <duck> i got hit with an additional fine
[19:22] <~RainbowDragon> I think making Rhemuthcastle the official website would be awesome!
[19:22] * @Bynw too
[19:22] <@Bynw> eer me too
[19:22] <@KK> Bynw, would this be feasible?  Do we have enough webmasters/mistresses to recruit to run it, without asking you to do all the work?
[19:22] * %TheDeryni three
[19:22] <@Bynw> silly /me
[19:22] <+Shiral> It would make sense
[19:22] <@Bynw> i think so
[19:22] <%TheDeryni> err, me three
[19:23] <@KK> I do have some new material--several interviews and such--and we need to do a massive update of the site.  Do you guys think this is the time to be doing it?
[19:23] <%TheDeryni> Yep!
[19:23] <@Bynw> i think i would go about it a different way ... turn the main portion into a closed wiki (thus only those with an edit password can change the content) it would be easier than uploading stuff too
[19:23] <+Shiral> I think we need to do it soon, if not now
[19:23] <The_Bee> if not now, when?
[19:23] <duck> strike while the iron is hot
[19:23] <+Shiral> Got a big backlog of burning questions
[19:23] <LeDuc> YES!!! and incorporate the other into  Rhemuthcastle, too?
[19:23] <+unicorn636> Seems like a good idea.
[19:24] <%DesertRose> Hey Shiral, I lost the link to the pronunciation key for all the names.  you wouldn't happen to have it handy, would you?
[19:24] <+Shiral> We need new pics of the house
[19:24] <@KK> I'll get in touch with Carolyn, then, and let her know that we'll be relieving her of the burden.
[19:24] <~RainbowDragon> This is the right time to do it, KK!
[19:24] <+Shiral>  Hang on, DR. I don't have it right here and now
[19:24] <%DesertRose> Okay.  I just thought you might have it handy.  Don't trouble yourself.
[19:24] <@KK> New pics---like our fountain frozen into a great resemblance to an ice wedding cake?  It was awesome, and I toiok pictures!
[19:24] <%DesertRose> Cool.
[19:25] <%TheDeryni> :)
[19:25] <@Bynw> i'll have to make some adjustments tomorrow (good thing since its still my weekend then)
[19:25] <%DesertRose> I wish it would have stayed cold here, but it was only cool for a couple of days, now it's back to the 70s again.
[19:25] <jemler> poor thing :)
[19:25] * %TheDeryni smack DR
[19:25] <%DesertRose> Ow.
[19:25] <+Shiral> That's a good start, KK <>G
[19:25] <LeDuc> Time for a weather spell then
[19:25] <@KK> It's 54 here, but was in the mid-20's for several days--but no snow.
[19:25] <+Shiral> <G>
[19:25] <Elf> ah nothing like frozen water.. makes some interesting artifacts
[19:26] <%DesertRose> Well, this is Florida, it doesn't get cold here really.
[19:26] <+Shiral> In the low 50's here, too
[19:26] <@KK> Shiral and Susan, would you keep your old functions, especially if we add some new help?
[19:26] <jemler> it got so cold here our water pipe burst, and we haven't had a plumber in the fix it yet!
[19:26] <%DesertRose> Oh no, jemler!
[19:26] <@KK> Yike!
[19:26] <~RainbowDragon> KK: perhaps you could also post something to the KK's News section from time to time as well?
[19:26] <+Shiral> Yes, for my part, KK
[19:26] <@KK> Well, I don't want to think about what our gas bill will be next month, with the way our heat was running.
[19:27] <duck> you can have the weather from here if you like - should be 110 today mind you where i was yesterday it was pushing past 130
[19:27] <The_Bee> much water damage, jemler?
[19:27] <+Shiral> The Questions Mistress is Lying in wait... heheheheheh....
[19:27] <%TheDeryni> I'm willing to help in any way I can.
[19:27] <jemler> it broke under the house. we have to wait until the water drains to send in the plumber.
[19:27] <%DesertRose> I've got time to help too, if someone will tell me what to do.
[19:27] <+Shiral> Been going around looking like the Michelin man in all my sweaters
[19:27] <@KK> I will do that, RB.  I'd just gotten overcome by momentum with the old site, and it being so out of date.  Mea culpa, at least in part, and I promise to do better in the future.
[19:27] <Elf> I will be the fan section... :)
[19:28] <ambush> I'm willing to torture people...errr.....help with whatever is needed wherever anyone that needs help with is its :)
[19:28] <%DesertRose> LOL, ambush.
[19:28] <The_Bee> what sort of help can we offer/  I'm not very computer-technically savvy.
[19:28] <+unicorn636> It definitely needs updating! <G>
[19:29] <@KK> Who shall we make the clearing person?  And though I like the old site, mostly, I think we need to do some simplifying, so it isn't so daunting.
[19:30] <%DesertRose> I'm pretty good at organizing stuff and imposing order on chaos.
[19:30] <%TheDeryni> heh
[19:30] <+Shiral> Time allowing KK, we'll need a new progress report from you
[19:30] <%DesertRose> I need to do it to my house. :D
[19:30] <jemler> except where cats are concerned :)
[19:30] <Elf> well cats have a mind of their own!
[19:30] <%DesertRose> Yup, my cats are chaotic neutral.  Sometimes chaotic good, when they're being sweet.
[19:30] <%TheDeryni> Here we go
[19:31] <jemler> was i bad, td?
[19:31] <%TheDeryni> heh
[19:31] <@KK> For a progress report, I can just rewrite our Christmas newsletter, I suspect.
[19:31] <+Shiral> Probably, yes. It was informative
[19:31] <Elf> He is a yorkie person.. not a cat person...
[19:31] <%DesertRose> Who, Elf?
[19:31] <Elf> TD
[19:32] <%DesertRose> Yeah, I knew that.
[19:32] <+Shiral> Susan, we should probably kick around some ideas for new Zipper Sister Columns
[19:32] <+Shiral> Also on a time allowing basis
[19:33] <+unicorn636> Sounds good.  I'm not sure when I'll have time to write anything though.  I have to see how my graduate class goes and I'm stil digging through this financial mess.
[19:33] <+Shiral> Something to do with the precocious Alaric Morgan
[19:33] <jemler> how about more info one the Servants of Saint Camber, the ones in St. Kyriells?
[19:33] <LeDuc> April first sound like a good date to get all this planned and done, and launched.
[19:33] <+Shiral> It does sound demanding.
[19:33] <@KK> Of course.  I'm sure we can get Carolyn to keep a link that will send folk from the old site to the new Rhemuth Castle one.
[19:33] <+Shiral> What if I were to do a solo one,  until you've sorted out your parent's estate(s)?
[19:34] <%TheDeryni> Or an auto-forward
[19:34] <+Shiral> With a note that you'll be back for the next?
[19:34] <+unicorn636> Well, let's come up w ith a topic. Maybe I can write something.  No promises though.
[19:34] <@KK> Bynw, where do we start on this?  I guess I should contact Carolyn to get the ball rolling, and let her know that she and Mark are about to be off the hook.
[19:35] <+Shiral> She will welcome the news
[19:35] <@KK> Poor Susan, it must be really sucky.  On the other hand, bu dealing with both estates at once, you won't ever have to do it again.  Talk about mixed blessings....
[19:36] <@Bynw> we can start building the new site at rhemuthcastle.com at anytime
[19:36] <@Bynw> i will have to add somethings to it but that wont take long
[19:36] <%TheDeryni> I'm in
[19:37] <+Shiral> Okay, topic first, rest later
[19:37] <@KK> Well, it sounds like we have a new quest for the new year!
[19:37] <jemler> just as soon as a guys send in 1/6th of their assets. to be used in building said castle!
[19:37] <%DesertRose> LOL
[19:37] <+Shiral> Oh jeeez, who let Imre In?
[19:37] <+Shiral> =o)
[19:37] <%TheDeryni> lol
[19:37] <Elf> heh
[19:37] <%DesertRose> LOL, Shiral.
[19:37] <+Shiral> I mean, didn't he DIE?
[19:37] <%DesertRose> Bynw, what can I do?  I probably have more time than anybody else?
[19:37] <+Shiral> the little squirt!
[19:37] <jemler> i said i would be good until after Christmas. now I can be naughty!
[19:38] <@KK> Uh, we already give Uncle Sam more than 1/6 of our assets, folk--and we don't even have a castle to show for it!
[19:38] <%TheDeryni> :(
[19:38] <+Shiral> That's rough,KK
[19:38] <jemler> sure we do, it's called the Bush Mansion in Washington DC.
[19:38] <duck> shiral said castle was built in a swamp and sank
[19:38] <LeDuc> all we really have is a bigger pile of debts for our kids.
[19:38] <+Shiral> LOL
[19:38] <+unicorn636> Ouch.  I don't know how much I have to give Uncle Sam, but they tell me inheritance taxes are bad.
[19:38] <+Shiral> But the FOURTH Castle stayed up
[19:39] <duck> that would be the fourth estate owned by baron fox murdoch?
[19:39] <%TheDeryni> Yes, but nobody can take the memories.
[19:39] <+Shiral> LOL, Duck
[19:39] <@KK> That depends, Susan.  You're allowed a certain amount tax-free.
[19:40] <+Shiral> But having to put all the information together--THAT'S a pain
[19:41] <+Shiral> After my grandmother passed away, my Uncle could barely fit all the info on the check he had to send to the IRS
[19:41] <@KK> Tell me about it.  I've been wrangling receipts covering the past 20 years!
[19:41] <+Shiral> At least you don't have to deal with Imre
[19:42] <@KK> Now, Jemler.  Not fair.  They have nothing to do with the White House.
[19:42] <The_Bee> I had a nightmarish experience involving the sale of mutual funds I'd own for over 30 years
[19:42] <+unicorn636> I have a big plastic file box from OfficeMax with just all the health insurance documentation in it.
[19:42] <LeDuc> Try this my 10yr old grandson calls them the Idiot and vie-Idiot of the US
[19:42] <@KK> Ditto, having to pay cap gains on a house we owned for 20 years in another country.
[19:43] <LeDuc> ouch!
[19:43] <@KK> Ugh, Susan.
[19:43] <jemler> you know why they call it that don't you. because the Capital Gains, you lose!
[19:43] <Elf> Yeah.. paper... the bane of my existance.. I have to deal with this stuff all the time...
[19:44] <Elf> Yes and they gain!
[19:44] <+Shiral> Well... maybe having those medical expenses will  mitigate the inheritance tax bite, a bit
[19:44] <jemler> and you a wood elf!
[19:44] <@KK> I'm sure the medical expenses will be deductible.
[19:44] <Elf> well where do you think they get the paper from.. my precious woods :(
[19:45] <+unicorn636> Actually, I haven't had to pay much.  Medicare and Blue Cross have paid most everything.  I just  had to fight World War III to get them to pay.
[19:45] <Elf> If I knew more about US taxes I could offer some advice but I know the Canadian system
[19:45] <+Shiral> That's the rub, yes. Making them live up to their agreement
[19:45] <@KK> I wonder if you can bill them for your hourly!
[19:46] <LeDuc> LeDuc is bowing out. I need to get to work, and feed all you hungry people.
[19:46] <+unicorn636> They kept telling me they couldn't talk to me because I wasn't my mom and she couldn't talk because she was on the vent.  I faxed them the power of attorney forms twice and mailed it certified mail once, but they still didn't want to talk to me.
[19:46] <+Shiral> Night, LeDuc
[19:46] <%DesertRose> G'night LeDuc
[19:46] <Elf> Night leDuc
[19:46] <+Shiral> Nice meeting you
[19:46] <@KK> G'night, Duck.
[19:46] <+unicorn636> Goodnight LeDuc
[19:46] <The_Bee> bye leduc
[19:46] <+Shiral> Night, Duck
[19:46] <LeDuc> thx, and KK. Success to thee and thine. and good luck with the new site.
[19:46] <+Shiral> No wait, Duck's not going anywhere!
[19:46] <duck> cheers leduc
[19:46] <The_Bee> g'day, duck
[19:47] <+Shiral> Sounds absolutely Orwellian, Susan!
[19:47] <The_Bee> that's ok, g'day can mean good morning
[19:47] <LeDuc> I told them I wasn't a duck, the duck is spared. but LeDuc goes.
[19:47] <@KK> Oops, there's a Leduc and a Duck!  Silly me.
[19:47] <duck> no, i have the day off although i have to attend a funeral in the afternoon.  g'day bee
[19:47] <@KK> Bye, Leduc!
[19:47] * LeDuc Quit (Quit: LeDuc)
[19:48] <+Shiral> So did you have a good Christmas, KK, despite the Capital Gains Sword?
[19:48] <@KK> My mother has been fighting a battle like that with her HMO, Susan; has sent the forms half a dozen times.  And she's only one of about a dozen who're being harrassed on this matter.
[19:48] <+unicorn636> The credit card companies are worse!  Capitol One insists that my dad is not "officially dead" and keeps sending letters demanding payment of interest charged after I paid the bill iin full that I refuse to pay.  The letters are addressed to him threatening him with restricting his charging priviliges and increasing his interest rate!
[19:49] <+unicorn636> I sent them a rather nasty letter containing his death certificate and telling them I won't do any further business with them or pay them another dime.
[19:49] <jemler> way to go!
[19:49] <The_Bee> What does it take to convince these paper-pushers?
[19:49] <@KK> Can you send them a copy of the death certificate?  That is just plain wrong, the stuff of late-night monologues--if the writers weren't on strike!
[19:49] <%DesertRose> I don't blame you.
[19:49] <+Shiral> HOw "official" do they want it? Take a picture of his tombstone and mail it to them!
[19:50] <@KK> Have you gotten a reply yet?
[19:50] <+unicorn636> They kept saying I had to talk to someone in their probate department and then putting me on hold for 25 minutes and/or disconnecting me.
[19:50] <%DesertRose> Oh jeez.
[19:50] <ambush> what the hell.
[19:50] <ambush> that's just nuts
[19:51] <+Shiral> That's definitely Credit Hell
[19:51] <The_Bee> not to mention inconsiderate
[19:51] <+unicorn636> I don't think the probate department exists.  And they already got a late fee out of me from when he went in the hospital and didn't pay the bills and I didn't know it.  Discover was nice and rescinded the late fees.
[19:51] <@KK> So, what're they gonna do, serve him with papers in heaven?
[19:51] <Elf> Yes I have found with our client's that that is the first thing to do... Inform all and sundry that the deceased is deceased with a copy of the Death Certificate..
[19:51] <jemler> did your father have an attorney? if so, have him contact Capital One.
[19:52] <+Shiral> It's time to roll out the big canon
[19:52] <@Bynw> susan, you need an atty ... dont try doing any of that on your own
[19:52] <+unicorn636> One letter said he had called them and asked to have his charging privileges restricted.  the next day they sent him balance transfer checks!  I asked if they'd found a way to communicate with him in heaven would they tell me how to do it?
[19:52] <%DesertRose> LOL
[19:52] <ambush> lol
[19:52] <Elf> heh
[19:52] <@KK> That's bizarre.
[19:52] <+Shiral> And stressful, I'm sure
[19:53] <%TheDeryni> btw KK, I know it's not close to you, but an English gentleman in Hampton, VA who owns an English food store said if you're ever going to be in the area he would order you a case of Shreddies at a good price. His name is David.
[19:53] <+unicorn636> The girl on the phone was too dumb to think that was funny.  Then I suggested maybe the people who worked there belonged in my special ed. class.
[19:53] <The_Bee> Could identity theft be involved?
[19:53] <@KK> Susan, do you know Julianne's husband, Frank?  He's an attorney, and would probably do some pro bono for you.  He loves taking on the establishment.
[19:53] <+Shiral> I'm sure your father is rather beyond worrying if Capital One is going to charge him for Posthumous Shopping!
[19:53] <ambush> omgs, Susan
[19:54] <+unicorn636> Actually, I have a friend in Chicago whose husband is an attorney who has been helping me.  I hadn't thought about Frank. But that's a good idea.  I do know Frank.
[19:54] <+Shiral> "Moved to Heaven, left no forwarding address"
[19:54] <%DesertRose> LOL
[19:54] <@KK> Yes!
[19:55] <jemler> i have a picture of a tombstone that read "Connection reset by Peer"
[19:55] <%DesertRose> LOL
[19:55] <@KK> TD, I would love to have him order us a case of Shreddies!  And we could go to Hampton to collect it!
[19:55] <%TheDeryni> The Best of British. (757) 723-7480
[19:55] <%TheDeryni>  50 Old Hampton Lane.
[19:55] <@KK> Noplace in Virginia is <that> far away.
[19:56] <%TheDeryni> I'll call him tomorrow to let him know that you'll be calling?
[19:56] <Elf> heh.. Excellent.. I am sure he can get proper Shreddies.. I am sure Canadian Shreddies have more sugar than UK version
[19:57] <@KK> I'll let you know when I've tasted the Canadian Shreddies.  :-)
[19:57] <The_Bee> is eating shreddies a dietary sin?
[19:57] <@KK> No, no, far from it.  Shreddies are <very> good for you!
[19:57] <Elf> absolutely not! unless you have a wheat or sugar intolerance...
[19:58] <The_Bee> what are they--a breakfast cereal?
[19:58] <Elf> yes
[19:58] <%TheDeryni> That's why they make Frosted Shreddies too
[19:58] <The_Bee> lke shredded wheat
[19:58] <Elf> forsted shreddie get a lot soggier than true shreddies
[19:58] <ambush> think mini-wheats
[19:58] <ambush> and frosted mini-wheats
[19:58] <The_Bee> ah ok
[19:59] <%DesertRose> I looked at them on the web, and they look like miniature Triscuits.
[19:59] <jemler> i did that. they told me i was wrong.
[19:59] <Elf> That is basically what they are... without the salt
[19:59] <%DesertRose> Right.  Cos salt on breakfast cereal would just be yucky.
[19:59] <jemler> well, with a phone number, maybe i'll give the guy a call, and see if he can send me some.
[19:59] <@KK> And they're wonderful.  I like 'em with just a bit of brown sugar and milk.
[19:59] <+Shiral> Salty breakfast....you might as well eat pretzels!
[19:59] <%DesertRose> Ew.
[20:00] <%TheDeryni> I eat Wheatabix myself, but have never tried Shreddies
[20:00] <%DesertRose> KK's going to get us all eating Shreddies!
[20:00] <+Shiral> I'm a cream of wheat  person in cold weather
[20:00] <@KK> It's hidden salt, guys.  Most foods have some.  It's one of the things you look for on the label, if you're supposed to cut down on salt.
[20:00] <+unicorn636> I'm more into toast than cereal.
[20:00] <@KK> Wheatabix gets too soggy too fast.
[20:00] <+unicorn636> I hate soggy cereal!
[20:00] <%DesertRose> Me too.
[20:01] <Elf> so do I!
[20:01] <The_Bee> my standard breakfast is chocolate Slimfast and coffee
[20:01] <@KK> We actually eat Shreddies more for supper than for breakfast.  We're tea & toast or English muffin in the AM.
[20:01] <+Shiral> Oatmeal's good too. I like it with milk and maple syrup
[20:01] <+unicorn636> I hate oatmeal.  You can have my share, Melissa.
[20:01] <ambush> mmmm.....english muffin
[20:01] <+Shiral> That's okay, I eat just enough for me
[20:01] <Elf> let's see Red River cereal with soy miolk and brown sugar in Cold months
[20:02] <@KK> Oatmeal is good for lowering chloresterol, too--and tastes good.  But you need to get proper oatmeal, not the instant stuff, which can be pretty insipid.
[20:02] <Elf> Muslia nd yougurt in warm months
[20:02] <%TheDeryni> Also, KK, you can get them online at www.britishdelights.com , but I don't know if they're from the UK. You have to do a search for them on the site.
[20:02] <Elf> musli and yougurt
[20:02] <+Shiral> I eat McCann's
[20:02] <+Shiral> Oh... I thought you meant Muslin, Elf <G>
[20:02] <+Shiral> Chewy!
[20:02] <Elf> instant oats is just wrong...
[20:03] <+Shiral> I use quick cooking, but not instant oatmeal
[20:03] <The_Bee> I like them
[20:03] <@KK> Proper steel-cut Scottish oats!  Yum!
[20:03] <%DesertRose> That's what my mom buys.
[20:03] <%DesertRose> I'm too broke, so I buy the quick cooking oats.
[20:03] <Elf> Quick cooking is what I use when I dwant a break from Red River
[20:03] <@KK> Yeah, my mother left some instant, and it's pretty punk.
[20:03] <+Shiral> Close, McCann's is Irish, but they know a few things about oats in Ireland!
[20:03] <@KK> They do, indeed.
[20:04] <Elf> I have not tried that style KK. Brand name?
[20:04] <+Shiral> But when it's cold, oatmeal is very warming and fortifying
[20:04] <@KK> It's more a type than a brand.  Not sure what's available over here.
[20:04] <@KK> I'm still relearning Americna brands.  It's a chore, after 21 years.
[20:04] <jemler> a box of Shreddies from britishdelights.com cost $7.50! plus shipping i presume!
[20:04] <Elf> I can scan the shelves next week.
[20:05] <@KK> That's steep, but I think one can probably get a better deal in bulk.  We'll see what they want for a case.
[20:05] <+Shiral> Stock up while you can!
[20:05] <%DesertRose> http://www26.netrition.com/bobs_steel_cut_oats_page.html
[20:05] <%DesertRose> That's the brand my mom buys.
[20:05] <%TheDeryni> I'll call him tomorrow
[20:06] <Elf> thanks DR!
[20:06] <%DesertRose> NP.
[20:07] <@KK> Well, I am now officially hungry, after all this talk of food.  I think I'd better mosy--or is it mosey?  Anyway, I'll set the wheels in motion for moving the site, Bynw and co.
[20:07] <%TheDeryni> :)
[20:07] <+Shiral> Yup
[20:07] <The_Bee> it's mossy if you sit too long in one place
[20:07] <+Shiral> Progress:  always good
[20:08] <~RainbowDragon> Thank you for stopping by

[20:09] <Elf> LOL
[20:09] <@KK> Yep, raiders.
[20:09] <+Shiral> And none too bright
[20:10] * @KK steps onto her Portal, waves good night, and disappears in a shower of green sparkles.
[20:10] <+unicorn636> Thanks!  Capitol ONe isn't in my wallet.  ONly my dad's!

"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)
