Sorry about my poor choice of words concerning my niece.  She was visiting her Florida relatives for Thanksgiving.  I was sad that she had to go back home.  Her grandpa was very sad too.  She is doing very well and is back home safe and sound.  Sorry for the confusion.
We will never forget the events of 9-11!!  USA!! USA!!

No worries. I understood what you meant with no problem, though I can see how someone skimming through chat quickly might misunderstand and think that a statement of the "she's gone home and we miss her" sort meant that some tragic event had happened, especially if they didn't catch the bit about her visiting for the holiday.  I don't think it was a problem with your wording, just one of the inherent difficulties of trying to keep up with a fast moving chat with those lines of text constantly scrolling and people often missing crucial bits and pieces of the conversation in the flow.
