I'm growing quite fond of him as well.  And you'll soon be renewing your acquaintance with Sir Jass MacArdry.  Yes, Dhugal's loyal Transha man, the one Conall briefly took as a hostage, though he appears to have recovered from that ordeal quite nicely.  I needed a Borderman, and found one of just the right age to serve the purpose.   

Now finished writing Chapter Eleven (no, it's not posted yet) and working on Twelfth Night.  Oh-Em-Gee.

Given she's a de Nore, I am seriously wondering about that poor child's life likely expectancy ... especially given the high infant mortality rates we see.

She may try to stage an 'accident,' but Daddy and Big Sister will open a can of Dernyi woop-a@@ on Evil Stepthing.
