I love the calendar idea. Could we spend some time adding the birthdates and feast days that appear in the books to the calendar? I can't keep them all straight, and my husband gives me really funny looks when I am happy to find a calendar that has Michaelmas and Candlemas on it, esp. since we aren't Catholic.  If we split the job up, it wouldn't be overwhelming to any one person. Is this a possibility? Or maybe setting up a second calendar with just WKK stuff?

Check out the appendices of the Codex. There's one back there.  But, for those without a Codex, one here is a great idea, too!

Although I think this is a great idea myself. It is a logistical nightmare for the following reasons:

1. The calendar system currently available does not have the functionality for events that take place on an annual basis. Unless you are actually a registered member and put in your birthday. But we dont want to do that with all the character names from KK's works. Others might want to use them.

2. Inputting all the important dates for the Deryni, Adept and other books of KK would be a very time consuming task. And with the above reason it would have to be repeated for every year, by hand.

So for the time being. We probably wont be adding dates to the calendar for the fictional events of KK's works.

Hmmm. I can see the logistics problems already. I thought maybe the calendar was based roughly on Outlook, where you could set up yearly events, etc. Oh well. Got to see if I can find a copy of the Codex somewhere. Missed it when it came out and haven't found it anywhere since.
