Happy St Patrick's Day. Enjoy the one day of the year when the whole world is Irish.

Music in the Dernyi universe.

Most of the music seems to be about right for the period, but there is one gap.  There is no reference to keyboards.  At least by Kelson's time the pipe organ and harpsichord should have been around.

I haven't my books here, but I don't recall any reference to organs in the churches, even in the big cathedrals or the chapels in the royal and ducal castles.  (I thought at first that Job's Complaint was an organ, but I've been assured that it was a bell.)

Is there some reason that the keyboard was never developed in that alternate world?
