Preparations to assist Javan before Alroy died

This group of Knights who had made preparations to assist Javan before Alroy died, do you think they did this all on their own or did the secret deryni that had infiltrated court helped to organize it at the behest of the CC?  I'm still curious about Jerowen Reynolds

I'm fairly sure that it was prompted by the CC with Etienne and Guiscard de Courcy as the go-betweens; although they would not have known about the CC, Guiscard was sufficently aware of the Sanctuary to be able to take Javan through to meet with Joram, evidence of a pre-existing contact.

I think Joram had long put his hope on Javan :-'(
