Templar Series

In recent years, Katherine has edited three anthologies dealing with the Knights Templar: Tales of the Knights Templar; On Crusade, More Tales of the Knights Templar; and Crusade of Fire. These books contain stories by Deborah Turner Harris, Scott MacMillan, Andre Norton, Robert Reginald and Katherine, herself, among others. Katherine’s forwards and introductions provide historical background and information relating to the creation of each story. Katherine’s story contributions “Obligations” and “Restitution” both involve Adam Sinclair from the Adept Series.

The Temple and the The Stone

What really happened to the Templars? How and why did the Maid of Norway really die? At the waning of the 13th century, the Holy Land, Europe, and Africa are torn by war. The death of the “Maid of Norway” has created an opportunity for England’s King Edward I to place a puppet king, John Balliol, on the Scottish throne. But Arnault de Saint Clair and his Templar brethren, led by visions, must work to save the Scottish Stone of Destiny from the English so that its spirit may be rekindled through the heroics of William Wallace. Like his latter-day counterpart, Adam Sinclair, Arnault works to hold back the darkness.

Scotland, the end of the thirteenth century–and a world at war. As armed conflicts engulf Europe, Africa, and the Holy Land, clans rebel against the tyranny of Edward I of England. Led by mystic visions, Frère Arnault de Saint Clair and a band of fellow Templars enter the deadly Highland insurrection. Their mission: to save Scotland’s sacred Stone of Destiny, that its spirit and power may be reborn in the soul of the Uncrowned King, warrior William Wallace . . .For hideous pagan gods of blood have woken in Albion, corrupting, devouring, destroying–and the fate of the entire Christian world will soon depend on the courage of the Highlander known as Braveheart.

The Temple and the The Crown

England’s tyrannical Edward I decimates the Scottish freedom fighters led by Robert Bruce, while France’s Philip IV usurps control of the papacy. But far more than political power is at stake in Europe’s wars. For the French and English kings are unwitting puppets of Luciferian alchemists called the Order of the Black Swan. And the Black Swan’s true goal is to capture the sacred relics guarded by the mystic Knights Templar. Now from the Highlands to the Holy Land, the Templars must use martial prowess and potent magics to wage a desperate war to save humanity itself from eternal damnation.
