Somewhere, sometime before I read TKD, I'm convinced that I read something about the Naming Ceremony, but can't find it anywhere.  'Tis ever thus with references.

Can anyone help?  I'd be very grateful.

The naming ceremony is in Childe Morgan.  Chapters 17 and 18.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night...good Lord deliver us!

I thought I'd read something elsewhere prior to Childe Morgan's publication.

I'd never read it myself, but I would swear I've heard people talk about the naming ceremony in a previously published work as well, possibly "Swords Against the Marluk." Haven't read it myself. So mostly I'm just confirming that it exists in a different form. Maybe try doing a search for "naming ceremony" and see if you can find any references to it in the old KK chats.

Semi-solved it.  The passage I was thinking of comes from The King's Justice p53 in my edition.
