Well....I suspect he might be escorting Jen around on some historic tours, and having fun driving his new car, while remembering his late friend Prince Kelric with love.... =o) Just at a guess.

I just wanted to thank Evie for the story, and for pointing me here after I saw the first few chapters on FanFiction.net. Now, being otherwise in a futuristic state of mind, I'm wondering about "Deryni . . . in . . . SPAAAACE"

Noooo, don't get me thinking that far ahead in time, or I'll start wanting Space Deryni Action Figures!  It's bad enough I'm seriously pondering putting one of my Deryni figures in full 1:6 scale Elizabethan....  ;D

(Yes, I also do Deryni action figures, if you haven't discovered that thread yet in the fan projects section.)

Hm.  I wonder if Modern Gwynedd has a space program?  It wouldn't surprise me....

Morgan Haldane and HRH Prince Kelric (and/or HRH Princess Stefanie) wanted to be astronauts in the space program when they were young kids, before the reality of rank kinda smushed those dreams, poor dears...

ETA the slash mark I forgot because I can't brain today  ;)

Perhaps Morgan can start tinkering with that car... I'm thinking modern version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....
I realized that I wanted to be Deryni, would have loved to be another niece of Uncle Azim, perhaps living on a Fianna vineyard.... but I'm a never wazzer

I am thinking more like Morgan and Jen meet Dr. Emmit Brown and Go Back to the Future. after visiting 1025. The Black Gryphon sports car can do that,  Right!  :D

Having read the whole set of chapters of "Balance of Power", I am amazed with the writing, characters and story line.

The Deryni timeline and history has been brought into the 21st century fully fledged.

Thank you

Thank you for the lovely comment! I had a lot of fun writing "Balance of Power."  Well, fun mingled with a heaping dose of panic during the middle chapters, while I tried to sort out how to resolve all those tangled subplots. LOL!

It's an amazing story and it was thrilling watching it unfold. Though as a Brit the idea of almost an entire royal family being wiped out was a bit traumatic.
