Rupert

He has pancreatitis; fortunately, the vet caught it and put him on antibiotics, and he seems to be doing better.  A very expensive kitty!  $600.00

Yikes!  Poor kitty.  I hope he feels better soon.
"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)

Hope he feels better very soon, and hopefully without further vet bills!

He's gotten a little better, but he's still not eating (aside from an occasional nibble now and then) and is spending most of his time under the buffet in the dining room).

Much better today.  Is eating more--although not as much as I should like--and is acting more like his old self (actually taking an interest in what is going on.)

He is getting better, slowly, but still isn't his old self.

No better; but no worse, either.

He doesn't play or jump on things or ask for pettings or cuddles.  He just lies in his corner and emerges only to eat, drink, and use the box.  It is like I no longer have a cat--just the ghost of one.

I WAN'T MY KITTY BACK!
